UP Scholarship 2025-26 Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the UP Scholarship, students must meet the following criteria:

• Residency: Must be a permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh.
• Academic: Must be enrolled in a school, college, or university in the state that is registered on the scholarship portal.
• Minimum Marks: Must have scored at least 50% in the previous qualifying examination.
• Income Limit: Annual family income must not exceed:

1. Pre-Matric (Classes 9-10): ₹1 lakh per year.
2. Post-Matric (Classes 11 and above): ₹2 lakh per year for General and OBC students, and ₹2.5 lakh for SC/ST students.

How To Apply UP Scholarship 2025-26

The application process is completely online. Here is a step-by-step guide:

• Register: Go to the official website, scholarship.up.gov.in, and click on the "Student" section. Choose "New Registration" for fresh applications.
• Login: Log in with your registration details and password after completing the initial registration.
• Fill the Form: Complete the online application, providing personal, educational, and bank account information. An Aadhaar number is mandatory.
• Upload Documents: Upload a passport-size photo (not more than 20 KB) and other required documents.
• Submit and Print: Submit the online form, take a printout of the final application, and attach copies of all supporting documents.
• Submit to School: Submit the hard copy of the application to your educational institution for verification before the deadline.
