The only person in the world to whom the world does all the work as a father is Nelson Mandela. Mandela, the first founder of democracy, is also called. In 1990, the Government of India honored him with the highest honor Bharat Ratna Award. Mandela was the first foreigner to receive Bharat Ratna. In 1994, he was made the President of South Africa.


 
Nelson Mandela was the first black president of South Africa, his full name was Nalson Rolihalla Mandela. Mandela was born on 18 July 1918 in Mvejo, Union of Southern Africa to Gadla Henry and his third wife, Nekufi Noskany. I was the first child of my mother and the third of the 13 children of my father. In the local language, Sardar's son was called Mandela, due to which he got the name Mandela and became an example of this name all over the world.


Struggle is life

Mandela's life is a very painful life because apartheid dominated South Africa for centuries before becoming President. Black people were very afraid of white people because black people were being considered a symbol of evil, due to which black people had to suffer a lot, they had no right to live on their own soil in their own country. Whole rights were not given to them because whites were not giving rights in their country due to apartheid.


Being the president of the African National Congress and running the black movement before becoming president, he had to be sentenced to 27 years in the prison of Rabe Island due to anti-apartheid struggle, where he was given many types of punishment. He was released on 11 February 1990.

After the agreement with the white government in 1990, they created a separate South Africa country where there was no discrimination of any kind. After this, he opposed the struggle of apartheid not only in his country but in the whole world, today the whole world considers him as his father because he has tried to eradicate this evil feeling from inside the people. That is why the nation has declared his birthday as Nelson Mandela International Day.


Thinking

Nelson Mandela believed in Mahatma Gandhi's ideology and accepted sister non-violence. He considered Mahatma Gandhi as his source of inspiration, he was very much influenced by his thoughts. He was opposed to violence. He used to decide in his mind to do any work.

I hate casteism so much that I see a compulsion in society which is the duty of every person to remove it.

People of my country first go to jail and later the same people even become president.

Doing small work and living with small minded people does not give any benefit.

It is a good initiative to lead other people by staying backward.


personal life

Nelson Mandela had 3 weddings in his life, in which he was divorced from the first two wives and had 6 children. His family had Muskara grandchildren. He was tried for treason in 1961 because he opposed the white government in the apartheid movement, but was found innocent in the trial. His entire life was devoted to his country, he wanted to apply a strand of blood to the service of the people. In South Africa, they were called Madiba, which is an honorific term for the elderly in the local language.


The death

He will die in his home on 5 December 2013 and due to lung disease. He was 95 years old at the time of his death and his whole life was devoted to serving the people.

The people of South Africa considered Mandela to be the father of the nation, his fight was for democracy and to save democracy he devoted his whole life to social work.
