AIBE Exam 2025 Eligibility Criteria

✅State Bar Council registration: You must be enrolled with a State Bar Council.

✅Nationality and age: There is no age limit, but you must be an Indian citizen.

AIBE Exam 2025 Age Limit

No Age Limit: There is no upper or lower age limit for candidates appearing for the AIBE.

AIBE Exam 2025 Educational Qualification

LLB Degree: You must hold a three-year or five-year integrated Bachelor of Law (LLB) degree from an institution approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI).

Final-Year Students: Final-year or final-semester LLB students with no backlogs are eligible to apply and appear for the exam. However, their AIBE results will only be considered valid once they have successfully completed their degree program.

LLM Candidates: Candidates with an LLM degree can appear for the AIBE, provided they have already completed their LLB and meet all other eligibility criteria.

No Minimum Marks: There is no minimum percentage or grade requirement in your LLB degree to qualify for the AIBE.

AIBE 20 Exam 2025 Exam Pattern

🚩Mode: Offline, pen-and-paper.

🚩Duration: 3 hours.

🚩Questions: 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs).

🚩Marking: One mark for each correct answer. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.

🚩Open-book format: The exam is open-book, but candidates can only bring bare acts (unannotated copies of statutes) into the examination hall, not textbooks or notes.
