The country of India is called the land of great men because many great men were born here, who gave up their lives for the society and gave a new direction to the society and one of those great men is Siddha Purush Swami Vivekananda ji Maharaj who gave a new light in the society He exposed the society to a new direction and did many such proud works which the society still remembers and thanks Swami Vivekananda.


Birth

Swami Vivekananda was born on 12 January 1813 in Kolkata, his childhood name was Narendra, people were very intelligent people, they were going to do all the work with thoughtful thinking. He did not discriminate among the human race and considered everyone to be a child of God and was always ready to serve all, he considered the soil of India to be the best for himself.


Mother-Father


His father's name was Vishwanath Dutt and mother's name was Bhuvaneshwari Devi. Vishwanath Dutt was a famous lawyer at that time and was an English and Persian KV scholar. Mata Bhuvaneshwari Devi was a religious woman and a wise woman, a great traditional scholar in Mahabharata and Ramayana. He was also well-versed in English, that was the reason that boy Narendra was very much associated with Hindu culture, due to which he was always engaged in social welfare.


Childhood


Swami ji was very naughty in his childhood, he was also naughty in school, he was very smart in reading, he was of investigative nature, since childhood, I was interested in Sanskrit since childhood, he was very much associated with Ved Ramayana Mahabharata etc. And that was why he was a child with a sharp intellect.

There is an incident in Swamiji's life that in childhood he was very much associated with spiritual and that was the reason that he used to meditate for a long time, that is spirituality, a one time event that he stayed in his room for a long time in meditation. There was a lot of noise from the family members, but they did not listen, after that the housemates broke the door and shook them loudly or after that they were picked up by shaking them carefully, you have a very affecting incident in their childhood.


This child later became the carrier of Hindu culture, who spread the religion of nationalism and propagated Indian culture abroad.


Swami ji's life is a truth because he considered the truth as his god and he considered the whole world as his country. He never discriminated in mankind. He considered everyone as the son of that god and treated everyone equally.


Meeting guru Ram krishan paramhansa

In 1881, he met his Guru Swami Paramhans ji. Guru also used to live in great numbers about Paramhansa but after getting doubts resolved he considered his own guru and started following the footprints he had mentioned. Being proficient in the scriptures and obedient, Paramhansa ji declared him the head of all the disciples. After the death of the revered Guru Paramahamsa, he established the monastery at Brahnagar.


The whole of India had become his home, so after the establishment of the monastery, he traveled to the sub-continents, took a kamandal in his hand and traveled all over India and propagated the Indian culture.

  • On 11 September 1893, there was a speech in the Parliament of World Religions in America.

  • Launched the Ramakrishna Mission in Bengaluru on 1 May 1897


 Vivekananda passed away

Swami Vivekananda used to say that God resides within the afflicted and if you want to find God, then serve the afflicted people in the last time. he should be quite and healthy, but every single part of his body in the work of society He wanted to apply so he went to Jyoti Jyot Sama at an early age even today his life is an inspiring life for the youth. On 4 July 1902, Swami Vivekananda passed away at Belur Math.
